SkyShowtime, the next great streaming service for Europe, today reveals the top 10 most viewed series and movies in the Netherlands, since the streaming service launched six months ago.

After a busy six months of streaming, SkyShowtime can reveal that the top 10 most popular and multi-award winning series and movies being watched by Dutch audiences are:

Kicking off at number one is Yellowstone, the original drama series from Academy Award nominee Taylor Sheridan. The Dutton family, led by John Dutton played by Kevin Costner, controls the largest contiguous cattle ranch in the United States. 2022’s most popular blockbuster movie Top Gun: Maverick remains a firm favourite for audiences across the Netherlands and is available for subscribers to stream at no additional cost. When he finds himself training a detachment of TOPGUN graduates for a specialized mission the likes of which no living pilot has ever seen, Maverick encounters Lt. Bradley Bradshaw (Miles Teller), call sign: Rooster, the son of Maverick’s late friend and Radar Intercept Officer Lt. Nick Bradshaw, aka Goose. Facing an uncertain future and confronting the ghosts of his past, Maverick is drawn into a confrontation with his own deepest fears, culminating in a mission that demands the ultimate sacrifice from those who will be chosen to fly it.

Tulsa King, Sylvester Stallone’s series debut takes third place. The series follows New York mafia capo Dwight The General Manfredi (Stallone) just after he is released from prison after 25 years and unceremoniously exiled by his boss to set up shop in Tulsa, Okla. Realising that his mob family may not have his best interests in mind, Dwight slowly builds a crew from a group of unlikely characters, to help him establish a new criminal empire in a place that to him might as well be another planet.
