Today, SkyShowtime has revealed the long-awaited trailer and character art from its first Polish original series Warszawianka. The first two episodes of Warszawianka will premiere on SkyShowtime on 19 June, with new episodes available every Monday. The new series starring Borys Szyc has eleven 40-minute length episodes.

Warszawianka is a fictional drama series that follows the tragicomic adventures of 40-year-old playboy Franek Czułkowski (aka “Czuły”), brilliantly portrayed by leading Polish actor Borys Szyc. The series follows his adventures as he struggles to grasp the meaning of his own existence in the modern world.

Czuły is surrounded by the city’s most interesting characters who inhabit his life. Franek Czułkowski's parents (Krystyna Janda and Jerzy Skolimowski) have a turbulent relationship with their son, and with each other.

Gryzelda (Marianna Zydek) is the heart of the Warszawska Café - a place on the map in the capital which belongs to Czuły and where the most interesting characters of the city have fun.

Zosia (Zofia Wichłacz) is the special person in Franek's life who helps him become more colourful and balanced again.

Nina (Milena Goździela), the beloved daughter of Czuły is the only person who can bring him down to earth. She makes him happy and feel guilty all at the same time.
