SkyShowtime announces new Spanish SkyShowtime Original The Tribute (El Homenaje) w/t, featuring an all-star cast

A new thriller from the team behind the hit series Shades (Matices)

 Featuring returning stars Miriam Giovanelli, Juana Acosta, Enrique Arce, Raúl Prieto, Luis Tosar, Luisa Mayol, the late Eusebio Poncela and Elsa Pataky as brand-new characters

Today, SkyShowtime announced The Tribute (El Homenaje) w/t, a brand-new Spanish original launching in 2026, which has already completed filming. From the creative minds behind SkyShowtime Original Shades (Matices), the series tells a completely new story full of mysteries and secrets.

The eight-episode thriller features a stellar cast including some of the original stars of Shades (Matices), which premiered earlier this year on SkyShowtime; Eusebio Poncela, Miriam Giovanelli, Juana Acosta, Enrique Arce, Raúl Prieto, Luis Tosar, Luisa Mayol and Elsa Pataky return to play new characters in a new story. They are joined by exciting new talent including Manu Ríos, Álvaro Rico, Ángela Molina, Óscar de la Fuente and Georgina Amorós, among others.

The Tribute (El Homenaje) w/t tells the story of Adolfo Novak (Eusebio Poncela), patriarch of one of the most powerful families in the country, who gathers his family and close friends to celebrate his 80th birthday. Behind the toasts and smiles lie decades of secrets, betrayals, blind loyalties and a strong desire for revenge. The evening will end up blowing up and revealing a truth that, when it finally comes to light, will be much more unexpected and surprising than any previous suspicion.

The Tribute (El Homenaje) w/t is produced by Secuoya Studios and Stellarmedia in association with SkyShowtime and Prime Video. The series is written and directed by Sergio Cánovas, who also serves as executive producer along with Elsa Pataky.
