Two weeks prior to the premiere, SkyShowtime has released the trailer for its first Polish documentary series, Krychowiak: One Step from the Top (Krychowiak: krok od szczytu).
In the show, Grzegorz Krychowiak takes the audience on an insightful journey through various stages of his personal and professional life — a journey closely followed by cameras at almost every turn. We'll be able to participate in his conversations with his loved ones, as well as with sports figures such as Zbigniew Boniek, Robert Lewandowski, and Wojciech Szczęsny.
Krychowiak: One Step from the Top (Krychowiak: krok od szczytu) is the first Polish documentary production and the latest original series created exclusively for SkyShowtime. The four-part series will debut on the service exclusively across all 20+ markets on 27 November.
In Krychowiak: One Step from the Top (Krychowiak: krok od szczytu) Grzegorz Krychowiak takes viewers on a deeply personal journey through various stages of his life and career. As football gradually takes a back seat, he boldly begins to chase new dreams - supported by his loved ones every step of the way. Throughout four episodes, he brings humour, honesty, and his own fresh perspective, grounded in the belief that happiness is more than just the sum of life’s highs and lows.
Krychowiak: One Step from the Top (Krychowiak: krok od szczytu) is produced by Papaya Films (Lewandowski: Unknown, Kuba, and SZCZĘSNY). The series is directed by Jan Dybus (Kuba), with Kacper Sawicki serving as creative producer.
Krychowiak: One Step from the Top (Krychowiak: krok od szczytu) is the first documentary production and the latest original series created in Poland for SkyShowtime. Lately, the crime series The Cop. A New Chapter (Glina. Nowy rozdział) premiered on the service, further expanding its line-up of Polish original productions. Among them are the drama Warszawianka, the crime series Śleboda, and the thriller Langer, based on the novel by Remigiusz Mróz.
