New channels will showcase iconic franchises such as Dexter, Star Trek and Yellowstone as well as popular genres
SkyShowtime has announced the launch of dedicated on-demand streaming channels on platform, offering members a selection of curated entertainment for the first time.
Set to start rolling out in Sweden from today and across SkyShowtime’s other markets next year, the new feature will give members the chance to effortlessly discover some of SkyShowtime’s most popular franchises such as Dexter, House, PAW Patrol, Star Trek and Yellowstone. Genre channels ‘Comedy’, streaming the likes of Frasier and The Office, and ‘Killers’, showcasing global hits such as MobLand, The Day of the Jackal and Tulsa King, also feature.
Streaming 24/7 and included with SkyShowtime’s Standard with Ads, Standard and Premium subscription plans, the channels will make the most of the platform’s extensive entertainment line-up from the iconic brands of Universal Pictures, Paramount Pictures, Nickelodeon, DreamWorks Animation, Paramount+, SHOWTIME®, Sky Studios and Peacock, as well as SkyShowtime Original series.

The new on-demand streaming channels feature is accessible via the navigation bar in the SkyShowtime app. SkyShowtime is available direct-to-consumer via the SkyShowtime app across Apple iOS, tvOS, Android devices, Android TV, Google Chromecast, LG TVs, Samsung Smart TVs as well as Amazon Fire TV and Prime Video Channels in selected markets.
