SkyShowtime is adding to its slate of Polish originals with action-drama Morpheus (Morfeusz), set to premiere later this year.
Morpheus (Morfeusz) marks the third Polish original set to debut in 2026, alongside two-part documentary Edyta Górniak and Pionek (working title), a continuation of hit series Śleboda.
Morpheus (Morfeusz) follows the story of Piotr Leyer, a lawyer who, through a tragic twist of fate, becomes the head of a criminal gang. When he assumes control of the organized crime group previously led by his brother—and before that, his father—it quickly becomes clear that the young Leyer, to everyone’s surprise, fits remarkably well into the brutal world of crime. A seemingly ordinary husband and father becomes increasingly effective in his new role, gradually crossing more and more boundaries.
The main cast includes Andrzej Grabowski (Pitbull), Kamil Szeptycki (Chopin, Chopin!), Mateusz Kmiecik (Śleboda), and Sylwia Gola (Rojst).

The series is directed by Maciej Migas (Miłość jak miód, Bracia) and written by Michał Wawrzecki (LARP. Miłość, trolle i inne questy). Cinematography is by Bartek Cierlica (Akademia Pana Kleksa, Dziki). The series is produced by TFP for SkyShowtime Limited. Andrzej Papis and Maciej Sowiński served as producers.
