SkyShowtime today unveiled the official trailer for the original documentary film Edyta Górniak. On 5 March, both parts of this new SkyShowtime documentary production will be available exclusively on the service.
SkyShowtime Original documentary Edyta Górniak is produced by Constantin Entertainment Polska. The producer is Michał Brożonowicz, Agata Chwaszczewska serves as executive producer, and the director is Aleksandra Machnik.
Edyta Górniak is the second Polish documentary production commissioned by SkyShowtime, following the series Krychowiak: One Step from the Top. The service has also announced premieres of other local original productions for 2026, including the gripping action series Morpheus (Morfeusz) and the continuation of the story of the protagonists of Śleboda in the series Pionek (working title).
Edyta Górniak is considered one of the most famous and distinguished artists in the Polish music scene. She began her career as a musical theatre performer, appearing in renowned Polish musical theatres, and at the age of 19, she made her debut on Broadway in New York. Her participation in Poland's first ever Eurovision Song Contest in 1994, and her performance of “To nie ja” marked the beginning of her remarkable career in Poland and abroad. She is the winner of many top Polish and international music awards, distinctions, and music titles, as well as competitions.
