Meet the characters in The Tribute (El Homenaje), the new SkyShowtime Original series launching on 23 April
SkyShowtime today revealed the cast and characters that will feature across upcoming Spanish SkyShowtime Original The Tribute (El Homenaje), premiering exclusively with four episodes on 23 April, followed by the remaining four episodes the following week, 30 April.
The Tribute (El Homenaje) tells the story of Adolfo Novak (Eusebio Poncela), patriarch of one of the most powerful families in the country, who gathers his family and close friends to celebrate his 80th birthday. Behind the toasts and smiles lie decades of secrets, betrayals, blind loyalties and a strong desire for revenge. The evening will build to an explosive climax, revealing a truth that, when it finally comes to light, will be much more unexpected and surprising than previously suspected.
Adolfo Novak (EUSEBIO PONCELA): Adolfo is the family patriarch, a brilliant strategist who has achieved great success and financial prosperity by moving shrewdly in a world of power, betrayal and revenge. His 80th birthday will become a very special celebration.
Young Adolfo Novak (MANU RÍOS): In his youth, Adolfo dreams of breaking into high society. Driven by ambition and a determined personality, his goal is to build his own fortune and achieve success at any cost, always with his wife Norma by his side.
Norma Bianchi (ÁNGELA MOLINA): Norma is the family matriarch. Her knowledge of high society and her family connections play a fundamental role in building the family empire.
Young Norma Bianchi (GEORGINA AMORÓS): Daughter of the Italian ambassador, Norma is a young woman whose complex personality and inner struggles create tension within her family. Everything changes when she meets Adolfo, who promises to always protect her.
Stella Novak (ELSA PATAKY): Stella is the eldest daughter of the Novak family and, since she was born, her father has only had eyes for her. Intelligent and determined, Stella has always had a place reserved for her within the family business.
Young Stella Novak (LYDIA PAVÓN): Growing up in one of the wealthiest families in the country means facing difficult situations and painful decisions. Adored by her father, Stella’s relationship with her mother was never easy.
Lorenzo Novak (ÁLVARO RICO): Lorenzo is the artist of the family, brilliant and tormented from a young age. Unlike his twin sister Greta, he has always had a special, though unhealthy, bond with his mother.
Greta Novak (MIRIAM GIOVANELLI): Charismatic, dangerous and full of sarcasm, Greta is willing to do whatever it takes to achieve her goals. While her siblings could always count on their parents, she never received the attention she needed, but that has not stopped her from forging her own path.
Paula Ortega (JUANA ACOSTA): Paula is Adolfo’s personal secretary, the person who has been by his side since almost the very beginning of his career. A loyal and discreet figure, but crucial to both the business empire and the family.
Azarías Garbedian (ÓSCAR DE LA FUENTE): Azarías is Adolfo’s most loyal partner and his most trusted companion throughout his life. Azarías’ loyalty is unbreakable, even when it comes to handling the family’s dirtiest affairs.
Lorena Scolari (LUISA MAYOL): Lorena is the Novak family psychiatrist. Over the years she has treated different family members, becoming a confidante of their darkest secrets.
Elías Cortés (RAÚL PRIETO): A Paparazzo completely obsessed with Greta Novak, Elías would do anything to make her happy and secure a future with her, no matter the cost.
Víctor Salazar (ENRIQUE ARCE): Víctor is a methodical detective who collaborates with the police. He does not accept shortcuts or pressure from anyone, even when the investigation involves one of the most powerful families in the country.
Saúl Morvan (LUIS TOSAR): Aware of all the Novak family secrets, lies and betrayals, Saúl is a very special guest at Adolfo’s 80th birthday.
The eight-episode series is produced by El Homenaje la serie S.L. (Secuoya Studios) Studios and Stellarmedia in association with SkyShowtime and in collaboration with Prime Video. Elsa Pataky and Sergio Cánovas serve as executive producers, with Cánovas also acting as director. The series is written by Javier Naya and Martín Suárez and created by them both, together with Sergio Cánovas.
