Dutton Ranch, the newest series from the producers of Yellowstone, renewed for a second season on SkyShowtime
The first season of Dutton Ranch is tracking to become one of SkyShowtime’s biggest series debuts to date
SkyShowtime today revealed the latest gripping series from Paramount Television Studios and 101 Studios, the producers behind the Yellowstone universe, Dutton Ranch, will return for a second season, promising more to come in Beth Dutton (Kelly Reilly) and Rip Wheeler’s (Cole Hauser) story.
Dutton Ranch is tracking to become one of SkyShowtime’s biggest series debuts to date. The first six episodes of season one of Dutton Ranch are currently available to stream exclusively on SkyShowtime, with new episodes every Friday.
This marks the second new series from the studios behind Yellowstone to premiere and swiftly be renewed in recent months, with Y: Marshals (Marshals: A Yellowstone Story), starring Luke Grimes reprising his role as Kayce Dutton, paving the way earlier this year.
The nine-episode first season of Dutton Ranch follows Beth and Rip as they fight to build a future together in the Lone Star state. Far from the ghosts of Montana, they collide with brutal new realities and a ruthless rival ranch that will stop at nothing to protect its empire. In South Texas, blood runs deeper, forgiveness is fleeting, and the cost of survival just might be your soul.
Alongside Hauser and Reilly, the series star-studded cast also includes Finn Little, Juan Pablo Raba, Jai Courtney, J.R. Villarreal, Marc Menchaca, Natalie Alyn Lind and welcomed Academy Award® nominees Ed Harris and Annette Bening.
Produced by Paramount Television Studios and 101 Studios, the series is created by Executive Producer and Showrunner Chad Feehan and based on characters created by Executive Producers Taylor Sheridan and John Linson. Dutton Ranch is also executive produced by David C. Glasser, Art Linson, Ron Burkle, David Hutkin, Bob Yari, Christina Alexandra Voros, Michael Friedman, Kelly Reilly, Cole Hauser, and Keith Cox. In addition to executive producing, Voros also directed multiple episodes, including the premiere episodes and season finale. Greg Yaitanes, Jessica Lowrey, and Phil Abraham also served as directors.
SkyShowtime is the home of the global phenomenon Yellowstone, with all five seasons of the series exclusively streaming on the service, alongside origin stories 1883 and 1923, and new series Y: Marshals (Marshals: A Yellowstone Story). Other hit series from Academy Award nominee and Executive Producer Taylor Sheridan also available to stream on SkyShowtime include: Landman, Lawmen: Bass Reeves, Lioness, Mayor of Kingstown, The Madison, and Tulsa King.
